Introducing The 2020 Manufacturing Growth Programme Grant scheme

Arrivista has partnered with Economic Growth Solutions (EGS) to deliver a range of grant funded coaching packages to help West Midlands Engineering and Manufacturing companies achieve sustainable, profitable growth through 2020/1.

The Arrivista Manufacturing Growth Programme (AMGP) provides advice and support to manufacturing SMEs to help:

  • Identify opportunities and create plans for growth and improvement
  • Cover 33% of the cost of implementing the plans through a growth/improvement grant.
  • Provide both 1:1 and group coaching support plus consultation.
  • Provide access to matched funding for capital projects up to £25,000.

First steps

Introduction to working with a business coach, getting the right mindset, infrastructure and systems in place for future growth.

INVESTMENT £4,200+vat LESS 33% GRANT FUNDING

Duration: 3 to 6 months.

Step up coasching

Getting the business to the next level of achievement. Agreeing and focusing on key areas for improvement.

INVESTMENT £6,600+vat LESS 33% GRANT FUNDING

Duration: 4 to 9 months

Excel and sustain

A consistent pathway to achievement of long term goals, where new concepts become established habits.

INVESTMENT £9,600+vat LESS 33% GRANT FUNDING

Duration 6 to 15 months.

 

THE PROGRAMME DETAIL – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HOW IT WORKS AND WHAT THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT ARE.

 

 

Who can apply?


To apply you must be:

1. A company or group of companies that must have:

a. Fewer than 250 employees
b. A turnover less than or equal to €50 million OR
c. A balance sheet total less than or equal to €43 million

2. A manufacturer, defined as:

"A business that engages in any economic activity directly related to a product or production process they have researched, designed or produced, or otherwise hold core intellectual property in."

3. Able to demonstrate the intention to grow/improve – (through creation of increased turnover, increased jobs and/or introduction of new products/services/processes)

Businesses operating mainly in the following sectors are unfortunately not eligible:

• Fishery and aquaculture
• Primary production, processing and marketing of agricultural products
• Coal, steel and shipbuilding
• Synthetic fibres

How much grant can be claimed and what can it be used for?

The grant is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support the costs of working with an external expert/coach of your choice to implement a pre-agreed Growth/Improvement Action plan.

 

Arrivista has developed a number of Coaching Support Programmes covering areas such as Business Planning, Team & Leadership, Sales & Marketing, Financial & Time Mastery.


The investment for these coaching programmes is as shown above, 33% will be paid via the Manufacturing Growth Programme grant. 

 

Grant supported Growth/Improvement projects must be part completed, paid and claimed for within 4 months of grant confirmation.

 

Capital purchase schemes up to £25,000 will potentially attract funding up to 50%.
